Ground-based Near-Infrared Imaging of the HD 141569 Circumstellar Disk
We present the first ground-based near-infrared image of thecircumstellar disk around the post-Herbig Ae/Be star HD 141569Ainitially detected with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). Observationswere carried out in the near-IR (2.2 ?m) at the Palomar 200 inchtelescope using the adaptive optics system PALAO. The main large-scaleasymmetric features of the disk are detected on our ground-based data.In addition, we measured that the surface brightness of the disk isslightly different than that derived by HST observations (at 1.1 and 1.6?m). We interpret this possible color effect in terms of dustproperties and derive a minimal grain size of 0.6+/-0.2 ?m forcompact grains and a power-law index for the grain size distributionsmaller than -3. Basic dynamical considerations are consistent with thepresence of a remnant amount of gas in the disk.

Vitesses radiales. Catalogue WEB: Wilson Evans Batten. Subtittle: Radial velocities: The Wilson-Evans-Batten catalogue.
We give a common version of the two catalogues of Mean Radial Velocitiesby Wilson (1963) and Evans (1978) to which we have added the catalogueof spectroscopic binary systems (Batten et al. 1989). For each star, when possible, we give: 1) an acronym to enter SIMBAD (Set ofIdentifications Measurements and Bibliography for Astronomical Data) ofthe CDS (Centre de Donnees Astronomiques de Strasbourg). 2) the numberHIC of the HIPPARCOS catalogue (Turon 1992). 3) the CCDM number(Catalogue des Composantes des etoiles Doubles et Multiples) byDommanget & Nys (1994). For the cluster stars, a precise study hasbeen done, on the identificator numbers. Numerous remarks point out theproblems we have had to deal with.
